Here’s a recent portrait session featuring Joshua, an aspiring young actor from Northville. We did a casual shoot in Downtown Northville on one of the most beautiful days of the year. Joshua was wonderful to work with; he clearly has a ton of passion for what he does!
In other news, Wendi+Sam Photography is moving all the way from Michigan to Seattle, Washington! It was a bit of a last minute development, but long story short, Wendi got a full-time job in downtown Seattle. Our business will be moving with us, so stay tuned for some photo posts of our new home once we’re all settled in!
I was delighted when Alora, one of my favorite models to work with, asked me do a fashion shoot for her Abercrombie & Fitch pitch. We opted to do the shoot at an abandoned building and railroad track for a “gritty” style… more to come!
I absolutely LOVE photographing portraits – especially when I get a client as gorgeous and gracious as Ania! Here are a few previews from a casual portrait session taken in Downtown Ann Arbor, right by two of my favorite works of architecture. This was one of my favorite sessions ever (could not have asked for a better model!) and I cannot wait to share more.
I was very excited when Rooftop Comedy hired me to photograph another live stand-up show for them! This time the venue was at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase (one of the best comedy clubs in the city), for the 2012 National College Comedy Competition broadcast on TBS. The tiny comedy club was filled to capacity for a Michigan vs. Michigan State college comedy show-down, and all of the comics were on fire that night!
Perhaps I’m a bit biased, but I have to say the U of M comics dominated this round. Go blue!
